A former teacher, headteacher, HMI, Senior HMI and a Chief Education Officer with the Co-op Academies Trust, I am passionate about all pupils, regardless of background, getting a great deal, so they achieve well in their personal development as well as academically. Throughout my career, including in my current roles, I have worked successfully with schools and academies developing internal capacity through developing leadership at all levels, impact focused reviews, strengthening accountability, performance management, and governor development.

Sheryl Cardwell, Interim Chief Financial Officer

I have worked in education for over 20 years and have significant experience in a multitude of areas such as strategic financial management, ICT, GDPR and Human Resource management.   My passion of being able to make a difference enables me to have the courage to challenge and be resilient when needed. I have worked successfully with over 100 organisations in the role as a Schools Resource Management Advisor and acted as an interim CFO in a number of Trusts supporting when capacity issues have arisen or during periods of recruitment.
